The walks

The tip of the seat, Orne Estuary nature reserve, unmissable nature walk in Ouistreham (about 1h20 walk round trip from the hotel to the tip). Climb the few steps of the observation tower and discover the local flora and fauna.

 

House of Nature and the Estuary, located in Sallenelles, you can get there by car or by bike. You will then discover on foot one of the largest protected natural areas of Calvados. Along the paths along the Orne you can observe the fauna and flora, more than 400 species of birds have been recorded and it is not uncommon to see a seal or seals. Ouistreham is also the starting or finishing point of the Vélo Francette which goes to La Rochelle. It is also a stage of the Vélomaritime which connects Roscoff in Brittany to Bray-Dune in the North over 1500 km.
